Dogs are social pack animals and thrive in groups, be it other dogs or their human family. Chaining a dog outside all the time is not only inhumane for the dog but can  become a serious threat to any child that may wonder in their territory. Chained dogs can become  un-socialized and very aggressive, and can also suffer immense psychological damage. Before you bring a dog home, make sure you are able to make it a part of your family and in your home.
