91-7. Duty to remove.
Each owner and tenant of land abutting or bordering upon the sidewalks of any streets or public places shall keep the sidewalks in front of his premises in a safe, passible and orderly condition, free from snow, ice, grass, weeds or other impediments. In case there is snow or ice on the sidewalks, such persons shall remove the same within 24 hours of daylight after the snow shall have ceased falling or after the ice has formed.
91-27. Installation and display of numerals. [Amended 7-21-1993 by Ord. No. 28-93]
Within 90 days of the date of adoption of this article, the owner of every parcel of real property in the Township of Jackson upon which is located a structure to which a street number has been assigned shall have the number so assigned displayed on the parcel or on the structure in a position which is easily observed and readable from either direction along the public street. Display of the assigned number on a mailbox directly in front of the structure or on the street directly opposite the structure shall be acceptable. In the case of individual residences and two-family residences specifically excluding strip malls and shopping centers, all numbers shall be in Arabic figures at least three inches high, one-half (1/2) inch wide and shall be of light-reflective material. Numbers written in script, cursive, Old English, Roman or other styles of writing shall not be acceptable because of the difficulty of agencies responding in emergency situations to read such style. Additionally, each separate commercial building, including strip malls or shopping centers, industrial building and apartment building shall be required to display a number and/or letter of at least eight inches in height and one inch in width, subject to the above conditions. However, individual retail establishments within a commercial building shall not be required to post individual numbers, provided that the commercial building exhibits a number as set forth in this section.
109-156. Storage of boats and travel trailers.
A. Such storage shall not be permitted within any front yard area.
B. A recreational vehicle or small boat shall not exceed 35 feet in length and eight feet in width.
C. Only one such recreational vehicle and one small boat shall be permitted to be stored outdoors at any single-family residence.
D. A recreational vehicle or small boat less than 35 feet in length and eight feet in width shall be stored outside the required building rear and side setback lines of the zoning district within which the property on which it is stored is located.
E. Any such vehicles stored in accordance with this chapter shall not be occupied and shall not be provided with utility connections.
F. Boats, trailer, etc., to be owned by property owner.
102-2. Keeping or storing out-of-doors prohibited. [Amended 4-12-1993 by Ord. No. 11-93]
No person shall place, abandon or leave, keep or store or suffer or permit the placing, abandoning, leaving, keeping or storage of any article described in ยง 102-1 of this chapter out-of-doors on any public land in Jackson Township or between the right-of-way sidelines of any public thoroughfare therein. Upon private lands, not more than one currently unregistered and/or uninspected motor vehicle shall be parked, kept or stored on any private property, and no vehicle shall at any time be in a state of major disassembly, disrepair or in the process of being stripped or dismantled. Nothing herein contained shall be deemed to prohibit the placing, keeping or storage of any such article in an enclosed garage, barn or other building.

109-182. Signs
A. General requirements.
(1) No sign shall be erected, altered, constructed, reconstructed, placed, replaced or otherwise displayed which is not in accordance with the standards and requirements established in this section. Unless otherwise specified in this section, the erection, alteration, construction, reconstruction, placement, replacement or display of any sign, except "No Trespassing" and "No Hunting," shall require a sign permit.
109-151. Property Maintenance
It shall be the responsibility of every property owner, tenant, developer and applicant to maintain in a safe and orderly condition all buildings and land in the Township of Jackson which he owns, uses, occupies or has maintenance responsibility for. Land uses within the Township of Jackson shall be maintained in accordance with the following regulations:
No person, firm or corporation shall park or store, between the hours of 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., a motor-drawn vehicle, omnibus, school bus, pole trailer, road tractor or commercial motor vehicle upon any land, property or lot which is primarily used or zoned for residential purposes. The words and phrases stated and used in this section are intended to have the meanings set forth for such words and phrases respectively as set forth in Subtitle 1 of Title 39 of the New Jersey Revised Statutes.
