Chapter 18-6: There is hereby created an apartment and Mobile Home Park Rent Leveling Board within the Township of Jackson pursuant to the police power within N.J.S.A. 40:48-2. The Board shall consist of seven members and one alternate member who shall serve in the event of absence or disqualification of a regular member who shall serve in the event of absence or disqualification of a regular member. The members of the Board and the alternate member shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the township Council, and their terms of office shall be for a period of three years each, commencing on January I of the year in which they are appointed, except that the terms of embers first appointed shall be three members for three years, two members for two years and two members and the alternate member for one year. Each member shall serve without compensation and each shall be a resident of the township. No owner, operator or manager ofa mobile home park or any other residential rental property or their employees and not tenant of any mobile home park or other residential property shall be appointed as a member of the Board. 2012 NOTICE OF MEETINGS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE RENT CONTROL BOARD OF THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON HAS SCHEDULED ITS 2012 MEETINGS TO BE HELD IN THE MAIN MEETING ROOM OF THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING, 95 WEST VETERANS HIGHWAY, JACKSON, NJ. SAID MEETINGS WILL BE HELD ON THE SECOND AND FOURTH THURSDAYS AT 7:30 PM OF EACH MONTH AS LISTED BELOW. EXCEPT AS NOTED SO AS NOT TO CONFLICT WITH MUNICIPAL RECOGNIZED HOLIDAY.
