Welcome Home Ceremony Form

Mayor Michael Reina
Township of Jackson
February 1, 2012

Do you have a family member who is serving in the Military overseas or do you know of a friend or neighbor who has a family member serving overseas? If you do we want to know about it and get their return information as quickly as possible because we want to welcome these heroes home to Jackson by giving them a welcome home surprise. As we all know, freedom is never free so although some may prefer to have a small intimate return, there is nothing more rewarding than to welcome home these brave men and women who have selflessly walked into harm's way to defend and protect our freedom. When available our Jackson Police Department can escort these heroes to their destination once they have entered the Township. We can't think of a better way to say Welcome Home and thank them for their service then to have our local heroes from our Fire Companies, Police, First Aid, welcome them along with your family, neighbors and friends. A homecoming means coming home to where your heart is so please join me and let’s make 2012 a year to remember for our heroes as they “come home to Jackson”! Those interested can contact Samantha Novak at the Mayor’s office at 732-928-1200 ext 211 to advise of a returning soldier. A welcome home form can also be downloaded here. We look forward to hearing from you.
