The Accreditation Manager of the Jackson Township Police Department is Captain Christopher L. Dunton. Captain Dunton is a 25 year veteran of the Jackson Township Police Department, having begun his career with the agency in the fall of 1984. As the Accreditation Manager, Capt. Dunton develops and oversees policies within the department in an effort to bring the agency up to standards of CALEA. He has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Trenton State College in 1983, and a Master of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Monmouth University in 2000. During his career he has also successfully completed both the Northwestern University Center for Public Safety School of Police Staff and Command, and the Northwestern University Center for Public Safety Police Executive Management Program.
