The Jackson Township Police Department is now accepting
permit applications for residential, commercial and apartment complex alarm
systems. All applications will be review by the township Alarm
Administrator. Properly completed applications will be granted an alarm
permit which is valid for one year.
Registration must be renewed annually and/or upon transfer
of an alarm system to another alarm user. Alarm permits may not be
transferred between users.
Applicants for permits are expected to have been
instructed in the use of their alarm system (including how to avoid false
alarms,) to have written operating instructions for their system, and to have an
alarm repair service who shall service their system as needed.
There is no fee for an Alarm Permit.
