The Jackson Township Police Department participates in the Ocean County Regional SWAT “North Team” which consists of police officers from several municipalities throughout northern Ocean County. Jackson Police has approximately 10 operators involved in this part-time unit that engages in tactical entries, high-risk warrant arrests, hostage/stand off situations and narcotics raids. These officers are highly training and dedicated to their job and communities they serve.
