MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Jackson Township Senior Center is to improve the quality of life for seniors, 50+ years of age and older, by offering recreational and educational programs, congregate meals, and social activities; and by providing support services for all seniors, including special services for those with physical and/or cognitive impairments. The center serves as a community resource site for information in the field of aging, social services, training for personal health screenings, and opportunities for volunteerism. Seniors 50+ are encouraged to participate in programs, engage in opportunities to promote personal growth, improve and enrich their quality of life, support the needs of individuals, enhance independence and broaden the involvement of seniors within the community. The center also assists in providing for the transportation needs of Jackson Township seniors. All activities of the Jackson Township Senior Center are conducted on a non-discriminatory basis without regard to race, color, religion, sex, handicap, family status, national origin or ability to pay.
